We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate.
Principal responsibilities
- Work closely with onshore analyst based out of Hong Kong
- Create, maintain and update models on a regular basis with guidance from onshore counterparts
- Conduct fundamental and financial analysis on industry and individual companies
- Make meaningful contributions to research reports with guidance from onshore counterparts
- Maintain and update various databases
- Track and analyse regulatory changes and their impact on our coverage
- Keep the global team appraised of new developments by monitoring news and events
- Work on various client requests independently and in a timely and accurate manner
- Work on global products, when required
- Respond quickly, efficiently and accurately to ad-hoc requests
- Competitive proficiency in written and spoken English and Mandarin
- Knowledge and understanding of various valuation methodologies and metrics as well as financial modelling skills would be expected
- Good written and oral/presentation skills
- Post Graduate Finance / MBA or equivalent from a reputed university
- Candidates who are CPA/CFA Charter holders or pursuing CPA/CFA will be preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years in a related field within Financial Services
- Understanding of financial markets and various asset classes is a must
Systems
- Proficient with MS Office
- Knowledge of financial databases such as Bloomberg, WIND and/or LSEG Workspace (good to have)
- Proficient in written and spoken English and Mandarin
- Organized; diligent; ability to put extra efforts when required
