We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate.

Principal responsibilities

• Work closely with onshore analyst based out of Hong Kong
• Create, maintain and update models on a regular basis with guidance from onshore counterparts
• Conduct fundamental and financial analysis on industry and individual companies
• Make meaningful contributions to research reports with guidance from onshore counterparts
• Maintain and update various databases
• Track and analyse regulatory changes and their impact on our coverage
• Keep the global team appraised of new developments by monitoring news and events
• Work on various client requests independently and in a timely and accurate manner
• Work on global products, when required
• Respond quickly, efficiently and accurately to ad-hoc requests

Requirements

Skill Set

• Competitive proficiency in written and spoken English and Mandarin
• Knowledge and understanding of various valuation methodologies and metrics as well as financial modelling skills would be expected
• Good written and oral/presentation skills

Qualifications

• Post Graduate Finance / MBA or equivalent from a reputed university
• Candidates who are CPA/CFA Charter holders or pursuing CPA/CFA will be preferred

Experience

• Minimum 1-2 years in a related field within Financial Services
• Understanding of financial markets and various asset classes is a must

What additional skills will be good to have?

Systems

• Proficient with MS Office
• Knowledge of financial databases such as Bloomberg, WIND and/or LSEG Workspace (good to have)

Personal

• Proficient in written and spoken English and Mandarin
• Organized; diligent; ability to put extra efforts when required
