TDR Transportation & Logistics, a subsidiary of the Municipal Group of Companies, is a transportation company providing transport services around Atlantic Canada and USA. We are currently seeking an Office Administrator to join our team.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

  • Assist dispatchers with their daily paperwork, scanning and copying reports
  • Assist payroll and invoicing administrator with daily paperwork
  • Answers phone calls and direct them as needed and assist with the set-up of customer orders
  • Maintain up to date filing records of company documentation
  • Manages requests for pick-up or delivery.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves potential delivery and pick-up problems before they result in service issues
  • Fields emails from customers to the appropriate departments
  • Data entry in Axon
  • Organize and maintain office files and supplies
  • Act as a representative of the company demonstrating superior judgement and excellent customer service
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, And Experience

  • A degree or diploma from a recognized university or college
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Ability to deal with people tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suites preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Utilizes strong organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to work in fast paced team environment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors
  • A valid Class 5 Driver’s License

Working Conditions

The officer administrator works in an office setting full-time with sitting for extended periods of time. They are the first point of contact for employees and visitors, so they must be able to perform basic customer service duties.
