Fractional CMO

Interim / Fractional Marketing Director
West Midlands | 1 to 2 days onsite preferred
Outside IR35 | Day Rate DOE

We are supporting a founder led SME entering an exciting growth phase and looking to appoint an Interim / Fractional Marketing Director to help take the business to the next level.
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys building from the ground up. The business is looking for a commercially minded marketing leader who can shape strategy while remaining hands on in delivery. This is not a purely advisory role. They need someone who can take ownership, create structure and build scalable marketing capability.

Key responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a go to market strategy
* Build marketing capability and processes from the ground up
* Develop CRM strategy, customer segmentation and account targeting approaches
* Create and improve customer engagement journeys
* Drive demand generation and top of funnel activity
* Introduce scalable processes and marketing infrastructure
* Work closely with leadership to support business growth plans
* Take ownership and drive activity through to execution

We are keen to speak with individuals who have:
* Experience building or transforming marketing functions
* Strong GTM and growth strategy experience
* CRM and customer lifecycle expertise
* Experience operating in founder led or scaling SME environments
* A blend of strategic thinking and hands on delivery
* Professional services or B2B experience would be advantageous
