Junior Full-Stack Engineer
Indexed description
You will work as part of a collaborative engineering team, contributing to the design, development, and operation of AI-enabled web applications using modern frontend and backend technologies, Large Language Models (LLMs), and cloud infrastructure. You will be supported by more experienced engineers and will grow your skills through hands-on delivery, feedback, and mentorship.
In this role, you will learn how enterprise software is built, deployed, and maintained, while applying generative AI responsibly within established engineering standards and practices.
We will count on you to:
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of full-stack web applications under the guidance of more experienced engineers.
- Implement frontend features using React with TypeScript (or similar frameworks).
- Support the development of backend services and APIs using NodeJS / NestJS or Python (FastAPI / Django).
- Assist with integrating LLM-based capabilities into applications using established patterns and guidance.
- Help evolve proofs of concept into stable, production-ready features within defined scope.
- Write clean, readable, and well-tested code following established engineering standards.
- Participate in code reviews, learning from feedback and improving code quality over time.
- Support deployment and operation of applications on cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS) with guidance.
- Work with SQL and NoSQL data stores under direction.
- Collaborate with teammates in an Agile delivery environment, participating in stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Demonstrate curiosity, a willingness to learn, and openness to feedback.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, information technology, or mathematics.
- 1 - 2 years of professional software engineering experience, or equivalent experience through internships, placements, or relevant projects.
- Foundational knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript and at least one modern frontend framework (React preferred).
- Basic experience with backend development using NodeJS or Python.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and client-server concepts.
- Exposure to cloud-based systems or interest in learning cloud technologies.
- Basic understanding of Agile development practices.
- Interest in generative AI and how LLMs can be applied in software systems.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Hands-on experimentation with LLMs through APIs or tooling. (prefer)
- Familiarity with concepts such as prompting, basic evaluation, or simple RAG patterns.
- Academic, personal, or early professional projects involving AI-enabled applications.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) through coursework or projects.
- Curiosity about software quality, security, and reliability, even if experience is still developing.
- We help you be your best through professional development opportunities, interesting work and supportive leaders.
- We foster a vibrant and inclusive culture where you can work with talented colleagues to create new solutions and have impact for colleagues, clients and communities.
- Our scale enables us to provide a range of career opportunities, as well as benefits and rewards to enhance your well-being.
