Role Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, communication, and completion of projects within defined constraints. This role serves as an advocate and architect of project management processes and procedures, utilizing the company CRM to manage billing, timelines, resource utilization, and overall project execution to meet internal and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with IT Manager and/or Project Engineer to create opportunities, statements of work, quotes, project charters, and work plans for review
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify appropriate resource utilization to achieve project deliverables
- Plan, design, and manage projects and opportunities within the company CRM
- Communicate project timelines and scope changes to both internal teams and clients
- Track and monitor project deliverables and milestones
- Develop meeting agendas and project documentation; distribute meeting notes and action items
- Partner with the Finance team to ensure all documentation, time, and expenses are aligned with the correct project
- Conduct internal retrospectives and close out projects
- Monitor task completion to identify at-risk activities and develop mitigation plans
- Travel 25–50% for client projects
- Document all notes, meeting minutes, and customer communications in the company CRM and IT Glue as appropriate
- Ensure all time and expenses comply with company policy
- Accurately document billable time in the company CRM
- Verify and submit relevant documentation updates after project completion
- Maintain established project timelines
- Expert proficiency with central repositories for project documentation
- Expert proficiency with company CRM and designated meeting platforms
- Basic understanding of Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and technical infrastructure (servers, networks, applications) for assigned clients
- Proficiency with communication tools such as Microsoft Office and Teams
- Additional software as assigned
- Ability to use hands to handle and control equipment
- Ability to communicate effectively (talk and hear)
- Ability to read, write, and interpret written documents
- Occasionally lift and move objects up to 25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodations
