Position Summary


Offshoot Brands – a growing portfolio of innovative food brands including Love Beets, Veggie Confetti, Genuine Coconut, and Fresh Face Foods – is seeking a strategic, creative, and results-oriented Shopper Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of shopper marketing initiatives across the brand portfolio.

This role will partner closely with Brand Marketing, Sales, and key retail customers to create best-in-class programs that drive awareness, trial, repeat purchase, and category growth. The ideal candidate understands how shoppers behave at shelf and online, knows how to translate brand strategy into retail execution, and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.


Key Responsibilities


Shopper Marketing Strategy & Execution

• Develop annual and quarterly shopper marketing plans across key retail accounts aligned with customer priorities, promotional calendars, seasonal opportunities, innovation launches, and category trends.

• Build omnichannel shopper programs including in-store, digital retail media, social, display, sampling, loyalty, and eCommerce activations.

• Drive omnichannel optimization across retailer touchpoints, supporting campaign setup and execution across digital retail media platforms (e.g., Instacart, retailer media networks) and ensuring alignment with broader shopper marketing initiatives.

• Manage and optimize product content syndication across retailer platforms (e.g., Syndigo, IX-One, Brandbank, and customer-specific systems), partnering cross-functionally to ensure accurate, consistent, and conversion-driving product listings that enhance digital shelf presence and improve discoverability across eCommerce channels.

• Create customer-specific selling stories and activation plans that support new item launches and priority growth initiatives.

• Ensure flawless execution of programs from concept through post-analysis.


Customer & Cross-Functional Partnership

• Partner closely with Sales team and retail customers to identify opportunities that increase product velocities, household penetration, and basket size.

• Collaborate with Brand Marketing to ensure shopper programs align with overall brand positioning and campaign priorities.


Budget Management & ROI

• Manage shopper marketing budgets responsibly across brands and customers.

• Evaluate investment opportunities and prioritize programs with strongest return potential.

• Track, measure, and report ROI, incrementality, lift, and key performance metrics for all programs.

• Recommend optimizations based on learnings and performance data.


Analytics & Growth Focus

• Analyze syndicated data, customer POS data, promotional performance, and category insights to uncover growth opportunities.

• Monitor velocities, promotional effectiveness, pricing, and competitive activity.

• Use insights to shape future plans and improve efficiency of spend.


Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in shopper marketing, trade marketing, customer marketing, or CPG brand activation.

• Experience working with major retail customers (grocery, natural, club, mass, etc.).

• Strong understanding of promotional planning, retail media, merchandising, eCommerce, and shopper behavior.

• Experience with retail media platforms and product content syndication tools (e.g., Instacart Ads, Syndigo, IX-One, Brandbank, retailer-specific portals) preferred.

• Proven ability to manage budgets and demonstrate ROI.

• Highly analytical with strong Excel and presentation skills.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to move quickly and wear multiple hats.
