Salary: $110,000 – $150,000
Location: Onsite – Warehouse / Industrial job sites - Columbus, OH
Schedule: 7:00am – 3:00pm 50+ hours/week (varies by project phase)
Relocation:
- Relocation package available
- Company will obtain 3 moving quotes (unhaul moving) and cut a check upon arrival
- Per diem offered
- 30 min–1 hour commute acceptable
Interview:
- Initial phone screen
- In‑person or virtual interview with operations leadership
Must-Haves
- 15+ years of experience with concrete construction (end-to-end build knowledge)
- 5+ years' experience running multiple teams across multiple jobs simultaneously (3–5 active projects)
- Experience owning project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Experience overseeing $30M–$50M in active work at one time
Plusses
- Data center construction experience (large crews, warehouse operations, 100+ craft workforce)
- Exposure to metal framing and complex structural systems
- Background in preconstruction and estimating support
- Experience developing and executing talent plans and mentoring future leaders
Day-to-Day
- Oversee full Project Execution Process (PEP) across assigned jobs
- Lead and coach 3–5 Project Leaders while maintaining accountability across teams
- Build, staff, and scale high-performing project teams
- Own project budgets: set up financials, track cash flow, manage projections, and mitigate risk
- Validate estimates, schedules, logistics plans, and supplier scopes during preconstruction
- Run and supervise planning meetings, CPP meetings, and monthly financial reviews
- Maintain strong customer relationships from preconstruction through closeout
- Ensure safety, quality, schedule, manpower, and financial targets are met or exceeded
- Develop talent through mentoring, onboarding, and performance management
