Gambit Search is partnering with a market-leading advisory firm in Germany to appoint a restructuring professional at Senior Associate / VP level.
This firm has undergone significant expansion over the last couple of years approximately doubling in size across the service lines. It is widely recognised as a leader in Germany for corporate debt advisory, with a top-tier presence across restructuring, real estate, and infrastructure.
The Opportunity
You will join a high-performing and rapidly growing restructuring team, working on complex and high-profile situations across Germany and broader European markets. The role offers strong exposure to both advisory and execution, with clear progression opportunities within a dynamic platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute financial restructuring mandates across a variety of sectors
- Take ownership of workstreams and contribute to end-to-end transaction delivery
- Manage and mentor a team of analysts and associates
- Work closely with senior stakeholders, including lenders, sponsors, and corporates
- Support origination efforts and contribute to client relationship development
Candidate Profile
- 4–5+ years of experience in financial restructuring
- Background from a top-tier investment bank or elite advisory platform is essential
- Demonstrated track record of executing restructuring transactions
- Native German speaker or extensive professional experience working in German-speaking environments
- Highly analytical with exceptional financial modelling and stakeholder management skills
