We exclusively represent a globally renowned leader in packaging equipment manufacturing known for its high quality, reliability, and serviceability.
They seek an experienced sales/business development leader to succeed the current managing director, who is retiring.
We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record in new business development (hunting) and the ability to manage existing and strategic accounts (farming), with operational leadership skills to eventually assume managing director responsibilities.
The following skillset is required:
- 10+ years of sales experience, sales leadership would also be considered.
- Knowledge and experience of packaging and consumables would be a large advantage.
- Experience selling banding, wrapping, strapping or packaging equipment would be a large advantage.
- Proven background in driving commercial success
- Definition and execution of a national sales strategy
- B2B sales experience is essential
- Direct and indirect (channel) sales are a plus
- Complex sales cycles experience
- Exposure to selling capital equipment would be an advantage
- Experience selling to the food and/or laundry sectors would be an advantage
- Fluent in French and English
