CNC Machinist

Key Responsibilities
- Operate mill, lathe, drill press, CNC machine, and other equipment
- Modify existing CNC programs as needed
- Write basic CNC programs
- Perform defined set-up and change overs
- Establish tool set-ups
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- A combination of relevant experience and education may be considered in lieu of a diploma
- Five years or more CNC Machining experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (e.g., Word, Excel)
- Advanced mathematical skills
- Ability to use measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers etc)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated understanding of G & M code
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to read and interpret prints, documents and other instructions
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Willingness to share knowledge
- This role is based in a manufacturing environment
- Frequent standing and walking required
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
