Senior Buyer

We are seeking a Senior Buyer to manage procurement activities for fabricated and engineered components within a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for strategic sourcing, supplier management, cost optimization, and ensuring continuity of supply in support of operational requirements.

This role is required to be performed on‑site and is not eligible for remote or hybrid work.

Qualifications:

• Lead sourcing and cost‑reduction initiatives
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and long‑term supplier agreements
• Manage supplier performance (quality, cost, delivery)
• Issue RFQs and purchase orders; manage lead times and shortages
• Partner with Engineering, Production, and Finance on BOMs, cost targets, and schedules
• Monitor market trends and supply‑chain risks; develop mitigation plans

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
• 5–10+ years of purchasing experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
• Strong knowledge of metal fabrication processes and industrial electronics
• Proven negotiation and supplier management skills
• Ability to read engineering drawings and BOMs
• ERP experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
