Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and occasional industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Troubleshoot electrical problems using appropriate testing devices
- Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Ability to mentor an apprentice and work in pairs or groups
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
- Coordinate with team members, general contractors, and clients as needed
- Complete daily documentation and communicate progress to supervisors
- Valid State of Iowa Journeyman Electrician License (License A or B)
- 3+ years of hands-on electrical experience preferred
- Strong working knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes
- OSHA 10-Hour Certification required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong work ethic, dependability, and a commitment to safety
- Proficiency with Field Pulse or other ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems preferred
