Essential Functions And Basic Duties
- Spreading and analysis of commercial financial statements for prospective and existing loan customers.
- Perform financial analysis and basic underwriting of loan packages for loan officers to include the following: trend, equity and ratio analysis, loan structuring, collateral analysis, guarantor analysis, and calculation of Global Debt Service Coverage.
- Perform loan reviews of existing commercial loans
- Recommend credit grades based on creditworthiness of borrower and performance of the loan
- Identify documentation exceptions and evaluate underwriting
- CRE Stress Test Analysis
- Review Rent Rolls, Construction Budgets, Pro Forma Statements, Feasibility Studies, A/R Aging, Inventory, Equipment, Floor Plan Reports
- Prepare Stress Model, Projected Income Scenarios, etc…
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance with a minimum of 12 hours of accounting and/or 18 hours of finance.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Minimum two-year banking experience preferred.
SKILLS/ABILITIES: Ability to work on multiple transactions simultaneously and prioritize assignments to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret complex financial information and identify relevant risks.
Strong verbal and written communications skills.
CAREER PROGRESSION: Successful candidates will have the opportunity of becoming Junior Commercial Lenders after completion of the two-year Credit Analyst program
POSITION LOCATION: Open to relocation within the State of Texas and Oklahoma if necessary.

documents or products or operate machinery.
Physical Strength: Sedentary work; sitting most of the time. Exerts up to 10 lbs. of
force occasionally. (Almost all office jobs.)

None: No hazardous or significantly unpleasant conditions (such as in a
typical office).

Reasoning Ability: Ability to deal with a variety of variables under only limited
standardization.
Able to interpret various instructions.
Mathematics Ability: Ability to compute interest, payments, profit and loss, financial ratios, percentage, cash flow and debt service.
Able to perform very simple algebra.
Language Ability: Ability to read a variety of books, magazines, instruction manuals, atlases, and encyclopedias.
Ability to prepare memos, internal loan applications, reports, and
essays using proper punctuation, spelling, and grammar.
Ability to communicate distinctly with appropriate pauses and
emphasis, correct pronunciation (or sign equivalent), and
variation in word order using present, perfect, and future tenses.
