Qualifications
- Relevant university degree or equivalent qualification in supply chain management, logistics or a related field
- Minimum 2 years experience in demand planning, production planning or a similar role
- Experience in manufacturing environment, preferably in packaging, plastics, or related industries
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
- Knowledge of inventory management principles and supply chain best practices
- Knowledge of inventory management principles, supply chain best practices, and experience with ERP systems
- Adaptable and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Assist the Supply Chain Manager in analyzing sales data, market trends and customer requirements to develop accurate demand forecasts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align production and inventory plans with projected demand
- Monitor inventory levels and identify opportunities to optimize stock holdings
- Helps identify and resolve supply chain issues to maintain continuity of supply
