Position: Business Analyst
Location: Jersey City, NJ or Wilmington, DE
Job description:
- 5+ years in BA / data governance or metadata management
- Hands-on with an enterprise data catalog tool
- Working knowledge of HRIS platforms (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM)
- SQL proficiency for data profiling and validation
- Familiarity with financial services data regulations
Core Focus Areas
- HR data classification with sensitivity tagging (PII, confidential) aligned to GDPR, CCPA, SOX
- Metadata definition and data dictionary management across HR domains (employee, compensation, benefits, performance)
- Data catalog ownership and maintenance (Collibra, Alation, or similar)
- Data quality rule definition, monitoring, and issue resolution
