A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PROJECT COORDINATOR
As a Project Coordinator, you'll be the connection point that keeps teams, timelines, and details aligned. You'll review project files, verify that milestones and KPIs are being met, and communicate regularly with Project Managers, Construction Managers, subcontractors, and clients. You'll prepare invoices, follow up on receivables, and maintain accurate records to ensure seamless project flow and timely billing. You'll troubleshoot issues before they cause delays, provide clear updates to stakeholders, and help guide Project Coordinator I team members when needed. Your initiative, organization, and strong communication skills will help drive operational excellence and ensure every project meets expectations from start to finish.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of project coordination or administrative experience in restoration or construction required
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business or construction administration an asset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and digital project management tools
- Experience with XactAnalysis required; Xactimate knowledge an asset
- Strong communication and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing deadlines, and problem-solve effectively
- Solid understanding of job costing, profitability, and client billing processes
- Ability to build strong relationships with team members, subtrades, and clients
