Talent Acquisition Associate, Human Resources

New York, NY (Hybrid)

Leading global investment management firm is seeking a Talent Acquisition Associate to support HR programs and initiatives, manage full-cycle hiring, and drive operational excellence across the organization. This position is based in New York City with a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition Associate

  • Partner with hiring managers, HR teams, and external recruitment partners to manage full-cycle recruitment.
  • Develop and execute sourcing and recruitment strategies aligned with hiring needs.
  • Create and manage requisitions within Workday and maintain accurate position data.
  • Source candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter and other talent sourcing tools.
  • Coordinate interviews, scheduling, feedback collection, and candidate communication.
  • Draft offer letters and support onboarding and background check processes.
  • Build relationships with external agencies and recruiting vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies.

Projects & Operational Support

  • Assist with implementation and coordination of internship programs.
  • Support reporting, HR projects, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with integration and operational alignment efforts across teams and systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 3–5 years of HR and/or recruiting experience within financial services, asset management, or investment management preferred.
  • Experience with Workday strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and talent sourcing platforms.
  • Experience with background check platforms preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
