Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Account Manager to drive revenue growth in the Domestic SMS (A2P messaging) RBM , WABA business across India. The role involves managing key client relationships, acquiring new enterprise accounts, and expanding messaging volumes through strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Business Development
  • Identify, prospect, and onboard new clients for domestic A2P SMS, RBM and WABA services
  • Drive revenue growth by increasing SMS traffic from existing and new accounts
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly targets
  • Build a strong pipeline through networking, cold outreach, and industry connections
  • Account Management
  • Manage and grow relationships with aggregators, and partners
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client communication and issue resolution
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention
  • Upsell and cross-sell additional messaging solutions (OTP, promotional SMS, etc.)
  • Market & Industry Expertise
  • Maintain strong understanding of the Indian telecom and messaging ecosystem (DLT regulations, TRAI guidelines)
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies
  • Provide feedback to product and operations teams for service improvement
  • Coordination & Execution
  • Work closely with operations and routing teams to ensure smooth message delivery
  • Coordinate with finance for billing, collections, and pricing approvals
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (DLT platforms, sender IDs, templates)
  • Reporting & Forecasting
  • Maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and CRM updates
  • Track KPIs such as revenue, margin, traffic volume, and client growth

Key Requirements

Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in SMS, CPaaS, telecom, or messaging industry
  • Proven track record in B2B sales and account management
  • Existing relationships with enterprises, aggregators, or telecom partners is a strong plus

Skills

  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship management
  • Good understanding of A2P SMS routes, pricing, and delivery mechanisms
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret sales data

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Monthly/Quarterly revenue targets
  • SMS , RBM , WABA traffic volume growth
  • Client acquisition and retention rate
  • Gross margin contribution
  • Collection efficiency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with DLT /MaaP platforms (e.g., Tanla, Route Mobile , Sinch , Onextel, Vodafone Idea, Jio)
  • Familiarity with messaging use cases (OTP, alerts, promotions)
  • Strong network in Aggregator Market
