About the Role
We are looking for a driven and experienced Sales Director to lead our retail sales operations. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing a high-performing sales team, and achieving revenue targets. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our customer relationships and growing our market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue goals and expand the customer base.
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales representatives to meet individual and team targets
Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior leadership.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients and retail partners.
- Identify emerging market trends and opportunities to drive growth and competitive advantage.
- Collaborate with marketing, merchandising, and operations teams to ensure alignment on promotions, product launches, and campaigns.
- Manage the full sales cycle — from lead generation and prospecting to closing deals and post-sale follow-up.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and territory planning.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and implement training and development initiatives for the sales team.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and customer service standards.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or above.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the retail sector, with at least 2 years in a managerial or team leadership capacity.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
