About the Role

We are looking for a driven and experienced Sales Director to lead our retail sales operations. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing a high-performing sales team, and achieving revenue targets. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our customer relationships and growing our market presence.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue goals and expand the customer base.
  2. Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales representatives to meet individual and team targets

Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior leadership.

  1. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients and retail partners.
  2. Identify emerging market trends and opportunities to drive growth and competitive advantage.
  3. Collaborate with marketing, merchandising, and operations teams to ensure alignment on promotions, product launches, and campaigns.
  4. Manage the full sales cycle — from lead generation and prospecting to closing deals and post-sale follow-up.
  5. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and territory planning.
  6. Conduct regular performance reviews and implement training and development initiatives for the sales team.
  7. Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and customer service standards.


Education

Bachelor’s degree or above.


Experience

  1. Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the retail sector, with at least 2 years in a managerial or team leadership capacity.
  2. Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  1. Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
  2. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  3. Data-driven mindset with proficiency in sales analytics.
  4. In-depth knowledge of retail industry dynamics, consumer behavior, and market trends.
  5. Strategic thinking paired with a hands-on, results-oriented approach.
