ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execution of the Planned and Preventive Electrical/Maintenance schedule.
  • Responsible for Installing, Testing, Maintaining and Troubleshooting wiring, fixtures, control devices, and equipment.
  • Responsible for Troubleshooting Electrical, Hydraulic, Mechanical, Pneumatic Systems, Motor Controls, AC/DC Drives, and Medium Voltage Switch Gears.
  • Be able to read and interpret Equipment drawings, PIDs, One Line Diagrams, and Schematics.
  • Effectively Diagnose and Repair Malfunctioning Systems and Components.
  • Improve equipment Reliability and Optimize Resources.
  • Maintain logs, and record labor, materials and equipment used.
  • Proficient use of Electrical Test Equipment such as Digital Multimeters, Ammeters, Meggers, and Instrument Loop Calibrators.
  • Ability to install and setup Variable Frequency Drives.
  • Participate in Breakdown Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, Focused Improvement, and 5S projects.
  • Ensure all workers adhere to Local, State, and National Codes and Regulations.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Electronics Technician Community College Degree or Licensed Journeyman Electrical License.
  • Minimum of 3 years Industrial Electrician.
  • One year of In Plant Manufacturing Experience.
  • Ability to work Independently and Utilize Critical Problem Solving and Decision-Making skills to Generate and Implement Solutions throughout the Process.
  • Must maintain Compliance within all LOTO, Confined Space, Hot Work, Working at Heights Policies.
  • OSHA 10 Training and Experience.
  • Experience with Variable Speed Drives, Siemens Drive knowledge a plus.
  • Experience with PLC Installation and Troubleshooting, Siemens PLC knowledge a plus.
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to assist in all Mechanical tasks, jobs, and repairs.
  • Ability to work extended hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work at heights in excess of 80 feet, use man lifts, and work in confined spaces.
  • Ability to work outdoors, rotating shifts, and lift 50 pounds required.
