About the Role

We're looking for a National Account Manager to take full ownership of our retail business in Australia and New Zealand. This is a senior commercial role. You'll be the person our retail partners call, the person responsible for sell-in and sell-through, and the person driving the strategy that grows our distribution, share, and revenue. You're not a coordinator, You're the owner.


We're looking for someone who can take retail off our plate end-to-end and run it better than we have.


This is a 12-month contract with strong potential to extend or convert to permanent.


What You'll Own

Account Leadership

  • Own the commercial relationship with our key retail accounts and lead all trading discussions

Commercial Planning

  • Build the annual JBP, negotiate terms, co-op, and range commitments
  • Own the offline forecast into S&OP and the trade marketing budget

Promotional Planning & Execution

  • Own the annual promo calendar, retailer submissions, and ROI analysis
  • Coordinate retailer conferences, tradeshows, and field activations

Trade Marketing & Field Execution

  • Direct the field team's priorities and keep all sell-in assets current
  • Own POS and field collateral

Reporting & Performance

  • Own account performance reporting and reconcile retailer invoices and trading spend
  • Report results and recommendations to leadership monthly


What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years in National Account Management or Key Account Management within Australian beauty, personal care, or FMCG
  • Proven track record managing pharmacy accounts
  • Existing relationships with key retailer buyers and pharmacy wholesalers are a major plus
  • Commercial negotiator and comfortable in trading discussions
  • Strong forecasting and analytical chops. You can build a sell-in case from data
  • Hands-on operator. Happy to roll up your sleeves on promo uploads, range submissions, and POS briefs when the role demands it
  • Self-starter who can run with full autonomy. We're not going to manage you, you're going to manage us
  • Willing to travel for tradeshows, account meetings, and market visits


The Engagement

  • 12-month contract, 4-5 days per week
  • Fully remote or hybrid (Melbourne or Sydney preferred for retailer meetings)
