Sales Engineer

In this role, you'll be responsible for:
- Working with prospective and existing customers alongside a member of the Sales team to collect and analyze application requirements and identify optimal solutions to fit the use case.
- Partnering with the Sales team to influence prospective customers and qualify strategic alignment to build a winning solution.
- Collaborating with Engineering, Product Management, and Operations teams to creatively solve internal and external challenges to meet client needs.
- Acting as the voice of the customer back to our product development team, providing critical insight into current and future customer needs.
- Serving as primary liaison between key Engineering and Product Management teams, pulling in subject matter expertise where appropriate.
- Engaging the engineering team as needed to meet the needs of our customers including regulatory, electrical, mechanical, and software competencies.
- Enthusiastically presenting product proposals to clients with technical integrity through knowledge of OnLogic's product line and capabilities.
The Sales teams you will be supporting:
Our sales team is made up of a range of highly-impactful roles, with opportunities to demonstrate great sales leadership and customer service at every stage of the sales cycle! Our sales roles include:
- Acquisition Team: Strategic Account Managers and Business Development Managers focused on prospecting, lead generation, and closing deals with new customers.
- Inside Sales Team: Strategic Account Managers and Technical Sales maintain our inbound lead engine as a cornerstone of sustained growth through lead qualification, customer retention, and funnel management.
- Enterprise Accounts Team: Strategic Account Managers manage and grow key strategic accounts with complex solution selling and executive relationship management.
- Sales Operations: Process driven leaders who optimize our workflows and data driven approach in a rapidly scaling organization.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of prior sales and/or engineering experience - prior experience with embedded or industrial computer systems is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or other Engineering or related technical field.
- A strong knowledge of computers, motherboards, processors, and other related components, and working knowledge of current operating systems.
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
- Ability to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
- Entrepreneurial-minded individuals with a strong drive and desire to be part of a rapidly growing business.
- Adept ability to manage time, adjust to shifting priorities, and effectively communicate project milestones or changes to cross-functional teams.
- Strong presentation skills to capture an audience and convey a message.

- Demonstration of the essential ability to hold yourself and others accountable.

Benefits
The salary range for this role is $90,000 to $120,000. We determine final compensation based on discussions with applicants and their experience in similar roles.
