Business Development Executive/Manager – India Sales (Cloud | Hunter Role)
Location: Pune, India (Pune based candidates only)
Experience & Background
- 5+ years of strong B2B sales experience in the Indian domestic market, with a proven track record of new business acquisition
- Hands‑on experience selling Cloud solutions such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, or private cloud offerings
- Demonstrated ability to build a pipeline from scratch, close deals independently, and consistently deliver against aggressive targets
- Candidates who are immediate to 60 days joiners will be strongly preferred
Role Overview
This is a pure hunting role—not account farming.
We are looking for a high‑energy, target‑driven Business Development Executive/Manager who thrives on opening doors, creating opportunities, and closing new business in the Indian domestic market. You will own the end‑to‑end sales cycle for Cloud solutions (Azure & AWS), from prospecting and qualification through to closure and collections.

Key Responsibilities
New Business Acquisition (Core Focus)
- Drive new logo acquisition across SMB, Mid‑Market, and Enterprise customers in India
- Build a robust sales pipeline through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, networking, channel partnerships, and referrals
- Identify and engage decision‑makers, penetrate new accounts, and create opportunities independently
- Consistently achieve and exceed quarterly, and annual revenue targets
- Collaborate closely with pre‑sales, solution architects, and delivery teams to accelerate deal closures
Commercials, Closures & Collections
- Own proposals, pricing, SOWs, negotiations, and closures with minimal supervision
- Drive end‑to‑end deal closure, from opportunity creation to contract sign‑off
- Take ownership of billings and collections, ensuring timely invoicing and follow‑ups
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records in the CRM, including pipeline, forecasts, and deal stages
Market Presence & Brand Representation
- Stay ahead of market trends, competitor movements, and customer buying behavior
- Represent the organization at client meetings, partner engagements, and industry events
- Willingness to travel to support sales engagements and closures
Qualifications
- MBA (Marketing / Sales / IT) preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in BCA, BE (IT / Computer Engineering), BSc (Computer Science / IT), or equivalent

- Solid understanding of Cloud Infrastructure and IaaS offerings

- Proficient in CRM systems and structured sales reporting
