Role Description

Initially, this position will be primarily office-based, supporting the day-to-day running of the business. Over time, the successful candidate will work closely with our Service Coordinator to develop a deeper understanding of our products, services, and operations—with a clear progression path towards a future Service Management role.


Key Resposibilites:

  • Answering incoming calls and handling enquiries
  • Reception duties, including greeting visitors and handling deliveries
  • General administrative tasks such as:
  • Scanning documents
  • Updating customer portals
  • Liaising with customers
  • Chasing purchase orders
  • Raising sales invoices
  • Supporting the Service Coordinator with daily tasks
  • Assisting the Sales Team with customer follow-up calls
  • Supporting the Projects Team with compliance administration
  • Organising Service Engineer training renewals
  • Carrying out additional duties as required


Development and Progression:

As part of your development, you will gradually gain hands-on experience in the service side of the business, including:

  • Building in-depth product knowledge
  • Understanding and helping diagnose common faults
  • Managing and organising stock levels
  • Reordering parts and materials
  • Assisting with scheduling engineers efficiently
  • Learning about parts, their functions, and applications
  • Occasionally attending site visits to assist engineers or carry out deliveries/collections

  • Has strong communication skills and a professional manner
  • Has an interest in developing technical knowledge
  • Is hands-on and open to occasionally working on-site with engineers
