We are looking for an AVEVA Certified System Engineer with 1–2 years of experience in the Water & Utilities sectorto join a plant-based automation project in Dubai.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with hands-on exposure to SCADA, industrial automation, and utility plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resident Engineers must possess strong technical expertise and proven hands-on experience in the following domains:
  • AVEVA System Platform
  • AVEVA Operations Control
  • Wonderware Application Server
  • AVEVA Historian
  • AVEVA InTouch / OMI
  • SCADA Architecture Design
  • Redundancy & High Availability Systems
  • Virtualization Platforms
  • Industrial Cybersecurity
  • PLC / RTU Integration
  • Alarm Management & Historian Optimization
  • Backup & Disaster Recovery Planning
  • Performance Diagnostics & System Health Monitoring
  • Industrial Network Infrastructure
  • FAT/SAT Coordination
  • System Commissioning & Integration Supervision
  • Candidates must hold valid AVEVA certification
  • Prior experience in utility, water, wastewater, or municipal SCADA projects Preferred
  • Support SCADA/HMI development and maintenance using AVEVA System Platform
  • Assist in monitoring and troubleshooting plant automation systems
  • Configure alarms, trends, graphics, and reports
  • Support PLC/RTU integration with SCADA systems
  • Participate in FAT, SAT, commissioning, and maintenance activities
  • Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams for smooth plant operations
  • Maintain technical documentation and system configurations

Requirements

✔ AVEVA Certification is mandatory

✔ 1–2 years of experience in Water & Utilities / Water Treatment projects

✔ Knowledge of SCADA, HMI, and industrial automation systems

✔ Exposure to Siemens / Schneider / Allen-Bradley PLCs

✔ Familiarity with Modbus, OPC, and industrial communication protocols

✔ Experience with Wonderware InTouch and AVEVA Historian is an advantage

Preferred

  • UAE/GCC project exposure
  • Immediate or short-notice availability
