Due to our continued growth, we are now recruiting for a Project Engineer to be based at our office/ our customer’s site in Hamburg
Role Overview
The Project Engineer will support industrial performance and digital tool deployment activities within the Final Assembly Line (FAL) at Hamburg site. The role focuses on process performance, data readiness, and tool validation, working closely with operational teams and a demanding customer environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data preparation — Collect, structure, validate, and prepare operational datasets for tool integration and performance analysis.
- Tool functionality testing — Execute structured test plans, validate tool behaviour, identify defects, and support corrective actions.
- Tool deployment — Support rollout of new digital tools into the production environment, including user support, training coordination, and performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with FAL Hamburg stakeholders to ensure alignment with local processes and operational constraints.
- Provide clear, structured communication to internal customers, including challenging stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Process Performance Engineering perimeter.
Required Skills & Experience:
- German language proficiency (professional working level at least).
- Good experience in engineering, industrial performance, or production support roles.
- Proven experience as a Process Performance Engineer (PPE).
- Strong understanding of FAL Hamburg ways of working, including operational rhythms, governance, and industrial constraints.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage difficult or demanding customers.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced production environment.
- Strong analytical mindset and familiarity with digital tools used in industrial performance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Aerospace digital ecosystems (e.g., Skywise, SAP, industrial performance tools).
- Background in industrialisation, manufacturing engineering, or continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of data analytics or scripting tools is a plus.
