Senior Software Engineer

A leading group of companies offering award-winning online recruiting solutions is seeking a Senior Software Engineer. This organisation provides high-reach online job markets in Germany and Austria, alongside SaaS portal solutions for operating job boards on partner websites, empowering businesses and connecting talent effectively.

The Role

• Develop scalable backend systems with Python, working on APIs, services, and integrations
• Design and implement scalable and maintainable services for real-world loads
• Craft clear, pragmatic solutions for complex requirements
• Continuously improve testing, CI/CD, deployment processes, performance, observability, code quality, and maintainability
• Actively shape architecture, system design, and technical decisions
• Collaborate closely within the team to build sustainable and robust systems

What You'll Need

• Several years of experience in software development with Python
• Strong commitment to clean code, testing, and maintainability
• Hands-on mentality combined with technical strategic thinking
• Excellent understanding of backend development and modern architectures
• Experience with Django, PostgreSQL, Docker, Grafana, and Linux
• Proficiency in CI/CD, automation, and Git-based workflows
• Ownership, technical depth, and a desire to take responsibility
• Very good German and English language skills (at least C1)
