The Opportunity


This is a pivotal role with full responsibility for commercial strategy, revenue growth, and

profitability.


You’ll work closely with the leadership team to:


  • Drive sales performance and margin improvement
  • Expand into new markets and channels
  • Strengthen our position across garden centres, retail, and distribution
  • Identify and deliver new product opportunities


What You’ll Be Doing


  • Lead and execute the commercial strategy across all channels
  • Own pricing, margins, and P&L performance
  • Develop and grow key customer relationships
  • Identify new routes to market (including e-commerce and export)
  • Collaborate with operations to align supply and demand planning
  • Analyse market trends across bird food, pet food, and wider FMCG


What We’re Looking For


  • Proven experience in a commercial or senior sales leadership role
  • Background in FMCG, agriculture, animal feed, or garden retail
  • Strong track record of growing revenue and improving margins
  • Experience managing key accounts and distribution networks
  • Commercially sharp, data-driven, and hands-on
  • Comfortable operating in an SME environment with real autonomy
