Position Overview

Buligo Capital is seeking an Associate VP, Investor Relations to support and expand our U.S. capital raising and investor engagement efforts. This role will focus on converting investor interest into commitments and helping drive capital raising for Buligo’s single-asset syndications and commingled funds. Buligo invests across four primary real estate segments: multifamily, senior housing, neighbourhood shopping centres, and industrial.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can present investments clearly, run a disciplined follow-up process, and bring an existing set of investor relationships that can translate into near-term opportunities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Capital Raising: Own the investor funnel end-to-end, converting interest into commitments through a disciplined, consistent follow-up process.
  • Develop & Expand Investor Relationships: Leverage an existing network (HNWIs, family offices, RIAs) while proactively building new relationships.
  • Present Investment Opportunities: Deliver clear, compelling presentations of investment theses, structures, risks, and return profiles.
  • Lead Diligence & Closing Process: Manage DDQs, data room workflows, and subscriptions to ensure efficient and seamless execution.
  • Manage Investor Experience: Maintain strong engagement through responsive communication, updates, and ongoing relationship management.
  • Own Pipeline & CRM Discipline: Maintain accurate pipeline visibility, track activity, and provide reliable reporting and forecasts.
  • Partner on Compliance: Work closely with legal/compliance to ensure all activities align with U.S. regulatory requirements.


Qualifications / Requirements

  • 2–4 years of investor relations, capital raising, sales, or related experience in real estate private equity, alternatives, wealth management, or investment management.
  • Experience in fund raising a must!!
  • Demonstrated ability to drive conversion through disciplined follow-up and investor engagement.
  • Ability to present deals effectively and communicate investment concepts clearly to sophisticated investors.
  • Existing investor relationships and the ability to show evidence of an active network (e.g., prior LP coverage, referral sources, investor meetings history).
  • Familiarity with private offering workflows (subscriptions, accreditation, DDQ/data room processes).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; polished, investor-facing presence.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple processes and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • High integrity and discretion handling confidential information.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA/CFA/CAIA a plus.
  • Willingness to travel 20–30%.

What Success Looks Like (First 6–12 Months)

  • Consistently move prospects from interest to commitment using a clear cadence and measurable pipeline.
  • Contribute investor relationships that generate qualified meetings early in tenure.
  • Help drive capital raised into single-asset syndications and commingled fund offerings across Buligo’s core segments.
  • Maintain high-quality investor experience through fast response times, clear materials, and smooth diligence/subscription execution.


Compensation

Competitive base salary plus bonus. Long-term incentive potential may be available based on performance and fit.
