Role Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and business-driven Business Development Director to join our Commercial & Solution team at Billennium. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding our market presence, and developing long-term business relationships with enterprise clients.

You will play a key role in identifying and shaping new business opportunities, building executive-level relationships, and delivering tailored B2B technology solutions aligned with clients’ business priorities. Your focus will include complex IT services, digital transformation initiatives, project-based engagements, products, and managed services across regulated industries and critical infrastructure sectors.

As a Business Development Director, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and C-level executives, working closely with internal teams of BDMs to translate market opportunities and client needs into high-value solutions that create measurable business impact.



What you will do:

  • Define and execute business development strategies focused on revenue growth, market expansion, and acquisition of strategic enterprise clients.
  • Build and manage relationships with C-level executives and senior decision-makers, positioning Billennium as a trusted technology and transformation partner.
  • Managing a growing team of Business Development Managers.
  • Identify, qualify, and lead complex B2B opportunities across IT services, digital transformation, Cloud, Data & AI, software development, enterprise platforms, automation, and managed services.
  • Own the end-to-end strategic sales process, including market mapping, prospecting, discovery, stakeholder engagement, solution shaping, proposal development, negotiations, and closing.
  • Collaborate closely with Presales, Solution, Delivery, Partnerships, Marketing, Legal, Finance, and Competence Center teams to create competitive and high-impact client proposals.
  • Monitor market trends, client needs, and competitive activity to identify new growth opportunities, especially in regulated industries and critical infrastructure environments.


Requirements:


  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in business development, strategic sales, commercial leadership, or a similar role within the IT services, consulting, outsourcing, software, cloud, or digital transformation sector.
  • Proven track record of acquiring strategic enterprise clients, developing key accounts, and closing complex, high-value B2B deals.
  • Strong understanding of IT services and modern technology areas, including Cloud, Data & AI, software development, integration, enterprise platforms, automation, cybersecurity, managed services, or staff augmentation.
  • Experience in building relationships with C-level executives, senior business stakeholders, and technology decision-makers.
  • Excellent ability to translate client business challenges into value-driven technology solutions and commercial proposals.
  • Strong ownership of sales targets, pipeline management, forecasting, account planning, and revenue growth.
  • Fluent English, both spoken and written.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on, proactive, independent, and results-oriented approach.
  • Strong knowledge of the energy market will be a major advantage, especially experience working with energy companies, utilities, grid operators, renewable energy organizations, energy trading companies, or companies involved in energy transformation.
