ABOUT THE ROLE

Evergent Technologies Inc is seeking a high-caliber Sales Director to own and grow enterprise revenue across Europe, the Middle East, and APAC. This is a senior individual contributor role, not a management role in disguise. You will report directly to the hiring manager and serve as the primary commercial force driving new logo acquisition across the territory, working with C-level buyers across the Telecommunications, OTT, and Pay TV sectors. Telco expertise is the foundation of this role. But the reality of the market has shifted. OTT streaming platforms and Pay TV providers are no longer separate industries. They are Telco's most urgent strategic battleground. The right candidate understands both worlds and can speak credibly to content bundling, subscriber churn, ARPU optimisation, and the impact of Cloud and AI on how operators build, price, and monetise their services. If you have spent your career navigating the complexity of Telco sales cycles, understand the key players and buying committees, and have a proven track record of closing enterprise deals, this role was built for you. If you cannot demonstrate those credentials clearly, this is not the right opportunity.


WHAT YOU WILL DO Pipeline & Prospecting • Own consistent outbound prospecting to create qualified pipeline in target Telco, OTT, and Pay TV accounts across Europe, the Middle East, and APAC. • Strategically leverage marketing-generated leads, SDR support, events, and content to maximize account penetration across the full territory. • Deliver predictable weekly meaningful meetings, monthly pipeline additions, and quarterly closed deals.

Enterprise Sales Execution • Execute Sandler sales methodology throughout the full sales cycle, uncovering pain, establishing budget authority, defining decision process, and positioning Evergent as the strategic solution. • Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles by building consensus across technical, financial, and executive buyers in Telco, OTT, and Pay TV organizations. • Drive internal alignment on commercial terms including setup fees and recurring SaaS pricing. Commercial & Strategic Engagement • Develop a clear, differentiated point of view for each account, demonstrating expertise in their specific business challenges, not generic product pitches. • Position Evergent's subscription monetisation platform in strategic business outcome terms, not feature lists. • Speak credibly to how Cloud and AI are reshaping the Telco, OTT, and Pay TV landscape and connect those shifts directly to Evergent's value proposition. • Structure deals that balance customer needs with Evergent's business model, driving consensus on pricing, terms, and implementation scope. Forecasting & Opportunity Management • Maintain accurate forecasting and disciplined opportunity management across all pipeline stages. • Manage multiple enterprise opportunities simultaneously across different stages of the sales cycle without allowing any to stall.

WHAT WE REQUIRE These are not preferences. These are requirements. Applicants who do not meet these criteria will not be considered. • 8-15 yrs of B2B enterprise sales experience with a demonstrable career progression in senior sales roles. • Non-negotiable: Deep background in the Telecommunications industry. You must understand the Telco ecosystem, the operators, the buying cycles, the commercial structures, and the key decision-makers. • Adjacent industry experience in OTT streaming and Pay TV is a strong advantage. Candidates who understand how these sectors intersect with Telco will be prioritised. • Working knowledge of Cloud technologies and AI, specifically how they are reshaping operator business models, pricing, and monetisation strategies. • Proven track record of consistently owning and exceeding revenue targets across multi-country territories. • Experience closing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals across European, •Fluency in consultative and solution selling methodologies. Sandler experience is a strong advantage. • Ability to engage credibly at C-level and build long-term trusted advisor relationships. • Commercial negotiation skills with experience structuring SaaS or platform deals. • Full professional proficiency in English. Additional language proficiency relevant to the territory is an advantage. KEY COMPETENCIES • Diagnostic Questioning: Expert-level ability to uncover pain, budget reality, decision authority, and timeline through structured discovery, not feature-led conversations. • Product Fluency: Complete confidence in Evergent's platform capabilities, competitive differentiators, and customer success stories to handle objections and articulate value. • Telco, OTT & Pay TV Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of the commercial, operational, and technical dynamics across all three sectors and how they are converging. • Cloud & AI Awareness: Ability to speak credibly to how Cloud infrastructure and AI-driven capabilities are fundamentally changing how operators compete and monetise. • Consultative Selling: Builds trusted advisor status with C-level buyers by connecting platform capabilities to measurable business outcomes. • Resilience & Persistence: Sustains momentum across long enterprise sales cycles while managing multiple parallel opportunities without losing pace. • Sandler Methodology: Pain-first discovery, upfront contracts, takeaway closes, and the discipline to disqualify poor-fit opportunities early. • Time Management: Balances prospecting, pipeline progression, and deal closing across weekly, monthly, and quarterly rhythms without sacrificing any pillar. • Commercial Acumen: Structures deals with an understanding of both customer priorities and Evergent's business model. • Marketing Leverage: Strategically activates marketing apparatus including events, content, SDR pipeline, and campaigns to maximize territory penetration.
