Information Technology Business Analyst

We are looking for a Business Analyst who will act as a key bridge between Business and IT teams, ensuring that system solutions meet business objectives while complying with banking standards and regulatory requirements. This role is critical in delivering successful system implementations, enhancements, and operational improvements.
What You'll Do:
- Serve as the primary liaison between Business Units and IT in defining and translating system requirements.
- Convert business needs into functional designs that support target‑state solutions.
- Conduct process re‑engineering, research, and analysis to address business, product, and operational challenges.
- Review business requirements and conduct data gathering, process analysis, and system impact assessments
- Coordinate with business units, IT teams, and external service providers to align system development
- Prepare functional requirement specifications and secure required approvals and endorsements
- Prepare and/or review test plans to ensure alignment with project objectives
- Lead business teams in developing functional traceability matrices, test conditions, and test cases
- Monitor test execution, track issues, and ensure timely resolution
- Act as Test Lead, when assigned, cascading approved test plans and strategies
- Ensure all system implementation documents comply with the bank’s SDLC and change management processes
- Prepare or review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Implementation Guidelines
- Implement system enhancements to comply with regulatory and scheme‑mandated changes
- Support investigation and resolution of production issues in coordination with IT and vendors
- Coordinate parameter change requests with the Application Development Team
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for production fixes and system enhancements
- Perform quality assurance, system integration testing, and support end‑user testing
- Consolidate testing artefacts and ensure completeness and sign‑offs
- Escalate high‑priority issues requiring immediate attention
- Provide regular project updates to IT Project Managers and BA leadership
- Prepare and submit task and status reports as agreed with project stakeholders
- Perform other related duties as assigned
What We Need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Information Technology, specifically in:
- System implementation
- Business analysis
- SDLC and project delivery
- Strong banking operations background
- Proven experience in business process design and re‑engineering
- Ability to elicit, analyze, and document business and system requirements
- Strong interpersonal, consultative, and stakeholder‑management skills
- Effective communicator with both business and technical teams
- Ability to define test scenarios and analyze test results
- Knowledge of IT platforms and enterprise systems
- Proficiency in MS Office / O365 and collaboration tools
