Southeast Toyota Finance (SETF) Finance and Accounting team is seeking an Accounting Analyst to support daily and monthly reconciliation processes, ensure accuracy across key financial accounts, and strengthen overall control functions within the organization. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in accounting principles, strong analytical skills, and be able to support audit activities.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare daily and monthly portfolio control reconciliations.
  • Assist with gathering audit support for various audit engagements.
  • Research and resolve aging items.
  • Assist with Commercial and Dealer Reserve daily and monthly functions.
  • Participate in ongoing Accounting Systems projects
  • Analyze various General Ledger accounts and reconcile as necessary
  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to strengthen internal controls and reduce risk.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and streamline reconciliation processes.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of automation tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3-5 years’ professional accounting & financial analysis experience
  • Good organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Communication skills
  • Problem solving skills / Analytical skills
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Strong excel skills and knowledge of Power BI, SQL, or Python
