Data & BI Platform Team Lead (NAXT Lakehouse & Helios)

We are looking for an experienced Data & BI Team Lead to join our Software Development Department and take ownership of the delivery and evolution of our Microsoft Fabric–based data and analytics platforms, supporting our flagship product NAXT, a Microsoft Dynamics 365–based ERP solution for equipment dealers.

In this role, you will lead two data platform teams, each owning a core data product within our BI and analytics portfolio.

You will be responsible for leading two development teams:

1. NAXT Lakehouse Team

A platform team acting as the platform owner of the NAXT Lakehouse—a Microsoft Fabric–native analytics product—owning its data models, semantic layer, and operational governance to deliver a scalable, governed single source of truth, enabling our customers reporting and advanced analytics.

2. Helios Team

A product-focused data platform team developing and continuously improving our product called Helios—a Microsoft Fabric-based , standardized and governed data platform—responsible for its delivery, operation, and continuous alignment with business, technical, and stakeholder requirements.

Your main responsibilities will be:

Strategy & Product Ownership

• Define and execute Data & BI strategies for the NAXT Lakehouse, including data aggregation layers, semantic models, and BI reporting

• Define and execute data platform strategy for the Helios solution

• Support and drive platform roadmaps, priorities, and architectural directions

Delivery & Operations

• Ensure reliable delivery against agreed plans and commitments

• Oversee platform operations, performance, stability, and continuous improvement

• Maintain and optimize data platforms, pipelines, and BI tooling

Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead and support the Data & BI and Helios teams in daily operations and professional topics

• Provide clear goals, continuous feedback, and mentoring team members

• Ensure teams have the skills, training, and technical guidance needed to succeed

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand data and analytics needs

• Drive cross team cooperation on process improvement and resource optimization

Customer & Business Value

• Supporting the identification of opportunities to increase customer and business value through data and analytics

• Incorporate customer feedback into product and platform improvements

What we expect from you:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, IT, Computer Science, or related field

• 5+ years of experience in Data / BI, including 5+ years in a leadership role

• Strong experience in data modeling and ETL/ELT processes

• Experience in building Datawarehouse (DWH) solutions for Customers

• Knowledge of Big Data and cloud solutions, e.g. Azure Data Lake

• Experience with CI/CD in data driven or analytics environments

• Strong hands on knowledge of Power BI (or similar platforms such as Tableau or Qlik)

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric or Azure Synapse Link is a strong advantage

• Solid understanding of business impact of BI and analytics

• Proven ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions

• Strong project management mindset, preferably in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments

• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English

• Strategic thinking combined with practical, hands on leadership
