We are currently recruiting for a Sales Expert for our Materials testing services of metallic and non-metallic materials. This position could be based in Dresden or Bremen.


Main responsibilities will include:


  • Managing a defined customer portfolio (account management, customer satisfaction analysis, achievement of sales targets, up-selling, and cross-selling) via phone, email, and online meetings
  • Active follow-up on quotations and proposals
  • Acquisition of new business for the testing of metals, plastics, and composite materials in the aerospace, railway, energy, mechanical and plant engineering, materials manufacturing, and mobility sectors (Europe-wide, online customer meetings)
  • Close collaboration with our technical departments in Dresden, Bremen, as well as in Spain and France
  • Participation in customer meetings at our testing laboratories
  • Occasionally: representing the company at trade fairs, conferences, and events
  • Gathering market intelligence and competitive insights
  • Monitoring sales KPIs for the defined area (including reporting)
  • Close cooperation with our sales community in Germany, Spain, France, China, and the USA Ensuring sustainable business success for our materials testing services


Requirements:


  • Several years of professional experience in sales, ideally with an extensive network of national and international industry contacts
  • Knowledge of product and testing standards
  • Strong affinity for sales processes, customer relationship management, and business development Open-mindedness, excellent communication skills, self-organization, and strong team spirit
  • Thorough and well-structured working style
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel within Europe
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills; additional languages are an advantage (e.g. German and Spanish)
