We are looking for a tenacious, tech-forward, and high-energy Business Development professional to join our IT/IS Staff Augmentation practice. This isn't a role for someone who likes to wait for the phone to ring. We need a "hunter" who thrives on the chase, loves the art of the pivot, and views "not now" as just a detour on the way to "a deal."

You will report directly to the Managing Director of IS/IT, working in lockstep to map accounts, break into new logos, and maximize our footprint within existing client agreements.


Location: Remote / Kansas City Metro Area preferred.

CST Time Zone preferred


The Mission

Your primary goal is to drive activities and secure meetings. Whether it’s through a strategic cold call, a perfectly timed email sequence, or walking into a corporate lobby for a face-to-face introduction, you are the tip of the spear for our growth.


Key Responsibilities

  • Full-Throttle Prospecting: Execute high-volume cold outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, and in-person site visits.
  • Expansion & Acquisition: Grow existing accounts by identifying new departmental needs while simultaneously hunting for net-new logos.
  • AI-Driven Scaling: Utilize modern AI tools to automate manual outbound tasks, allowing you to scale your reach without losing the "human touch."
  • Account Mapping: Collaborate with the Managing Director and Sales Team to identify key stakeholders and decision-makers within target organizations.
  • Leverage Sales Assets: Use provided decks, one-pagers, and case studies to build immediate credibility and secure discovery calls.
  • Relationship Architecture: Bridge the gap between a cold lead and a trusted partnership through resourcefulness and persistence.

  • Modern Creativity: You don't just follow a script. You bring a tech-forward approach to traditional prospecting, finding clever ways to get past gatekeepers.
  • Foundational Knowledge: You have a baseline understanding of the IT/IS landscape and how staff augmentation works. We’ll help you refine the technical nuances, but you should know the difference between a Developer, BSA, and a Desktop Support tech.
  • Resourcefulness: When a door closes, you find a window. You make things happen quickly and efficiently.
  • Excellent Communication: You can command a room in person and hold your own on a cold call with a C-Suite executive.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a sales or business development role (Staffing or Tech Services preferred).
  • High proficiency with ATS / CRM tools and AI platforms.
  • A "never-settle" attitude and a genuine passion for the win.
  • Ability to travel locally & regionally for site visits and client meetings.
