Ferretti Search is delighted to partner with a growing organization in Charlotte, NC to locate their next Controller.

• Location: Charlotte, NC
• Compensation: $130,000–$160,000 base + bonus
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday

What will your day look like?

• Accounting Oversight: Lead general ledger, month-end close, and financial statement preparation.
• Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate, timely reporting in accordance with GAAP.
• Internal Controls: Establish and maintain strong controls, policies, and procedures.
• Budgeting & Forecasting Support: Partner with finance leadership on planning and analysis.
• Cash Flow Management: Oversee working capital, cash flow, and liquidity planning.
• Audit Coordination: Manage relationships with external auditors and support audit processes.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting operations and enhance reporting capabilities.

Who are you?

• Experienced Controller: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred.
• Strong Technical Skills: Deep understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Hands-On Leader: Comfortable managing both strategic initiatives and day-to-day accounting operations.
• Systems Oriented: Experience with ERP systems and strong Excel skills.
• Collaborative Partner: Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with leadership.
