Catering Assistant/Baker

Phoenix Park is a beautiful Cafe nestled in the heart of the Phoenix Park at the visitors centre.

We operate 7 days a week & are looking for a catering assistant with some baking knowledge to join the team

This role involves assisting in food preparation, baking fresh products daily, and ensuring high standards of hygiene and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake breads, pastries, and other baked goods to specification.
• Assist with food preparation and plating in line with company standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following HACCP guidelines.
• Support the team during busy service periods.
• Ensure excellent customer service when required.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in baking or catering is desirable but not essential (training provided).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including early mornings and weekends.
