Accountant

Description

Accountants are responsible for preparation of journal entries, variance analysis and financial reporting duties.

Position Responsibilities

• Monthly closing duties such as preparation of journal entries, bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations.
• Variance analysis and interpretation.
• Knowledge of financial statements.
• Customized invoice processing and cost of revenue calculations.
• Thorough documentation of work.
• Communication of work results.

Qualifications

Essential Skills and Experience:

Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting is required

Training: NA

Skills: Excel development spreadsheet skills are required (as demonstrated in interview)

Experience: Two years of accounting experience preferred.
