VP-Strategic Capital Advisory – Energy

A growing Dallas-based energy advisory platform is seeking a Senior Associate / Vice President to join its Energy Capital Advisory team.

The role is focused primarily on capital solutions across the upstream energy sector, including debt and equity financings, recapitalizations, acquisition financings, and broader strategic advisory engagements.

Ideal candidates will have:

• 4–8+ years of experience in energy investment banking, capital markets, energy finance, private credit, or related advisory roles
• Strong exposure to upstream oil & gas
• Experience executing financing transactions and working with lenders, investors, and capital providers
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical capabilities
• Desire to move from a larger institution into a more entrepreneurial, high-growth platform

This is not a traditional M&A execution role. The team is specifically seeking professionals with stronger capital markets and financing experience versus pure sell-side advisory backgrounds.

The opportunity offers significant responsibility, direct client exposure, and the ability to help grow an established but expanding energy advisory business.
