Part-Time Design Associate

Job Description

David Weekley Homes is seeking a polished, customer-focused Design Associate to support our Design Center experience. This part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming environment, engaging with customers, and assisting with the home design preview process.

As a Design Associate, you will serve as the first impression for customers exploring design selections, while ensuring a seamless, organized, and elevated experience within the Design Center.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, professional welcome to all customers and manage the Design Center sign-in process.
• Conduct guided tours showcasing included features across various communities.
• Prepare and display pre-selected design packages for inventory homes, curated by our design team.
• Answer incoming calls and emails during preview hours, including scheduling preview appointments.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing Design Center environment throughout the day.
• Close the space at the end of each shift, ensuring all materials are properly stored.
• Communicate customer feedback and insights to sales consultants and the Design Center team to enhance the overall experience.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and comfortable interacting with customers in a professional, polished manner.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Basic computer skills (email, scheduling, general office tools).
• Open to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Ability to lift and move design materials such as tile, quartz, and sample boards.

Additional Information

• Part-time: $16/hour
• Location: 11271 Network Dr, Jacksonville, FL 32256
• Schedule: Tuesday & Wednesday, 4:30pm – 7:00pm, Saturday & Sunday, 11:30am – 5:00pm (one weekend shift per week is required)
