Microsoft Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Engineer with strong experience in domain migrations, Microsoft infrastructure, and enterprise cloud environments. This individual will play a key role in planning, executing, and supporting Active Directory and Microsoft 365 migration initiatives while ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with domain consolidations, tenant-to-tenant migrations, identity management, and Microsoft cloud technologies including Azure AD / Entra ID, Exchange Online, and Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Active Directory domain migrations and consolidations
• Execute Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations including Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint
• Design and implement identity and access management solutions using Azure AD / Entra ID
• Perform user, group, computer, and policy migrations across environments
• Configure and troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and authentication issues
• Support hybrid environments integrating on-prem infrastructure with Microsoft cloud platforms
• Develop migration runbooks, documentation, and rollback procedures
• Coordinate with infrastructure, security, and business stakeholders during migration activities
• Monitor migration performance and resolve technical issues in real time
• Ensure security, compliance, and best practices are followed throughout migration efforts

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting Microsoft infrastructure environments
• Strong experience with Active Directory domain migrations
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online migrations
• Experience with Azure AD / Entra ID and hybrid identity environments
• Strong knowledge of Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Windows Server
• Experience with migration tools such as Quest, BitTitan, ShareGate, or Microsoft-native tools
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
• Experience working in enterprise environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with mergers, acquisitions, or enterprise consolidation projects
• Microsoft certifications preferred (Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server)
• Experience with Intune, Autopilot, and endpoint migrations
• PowerShell scripting and automation experience
• Familiarity with security and compliance standards
