The organization is focused on building a scalable, technology-enabled agriculture platform spanning modern farming, horticulture, floriculture, and allied agri-businesses.

The Mandate

An exciting entrepreneurial leadership opportunity for a dynamic business leader to build and scale a profitable, multi-location farming-based enterprise leveraging technology-enabled agriculture and modern cultivation practices.

The role offers significant strategic autonomy and the opportunity to create a high-impact, future-ready agri-business platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, scale, and lead a profitable multi-location farming and agri-business operation
• Drive growth across agriculture, horticulture, floriculture, and allied verticals
• Develop scalable operational and commercial models including farming/contract farming ecosystems
• Lead business expansion, productivity enhancement, and profitability initiatives
• Build strong relationships with suppliers, channel partners, customers, regulatory authorities, and ecosystem stakeholders
• Drive trading, procurement, retail, export/import, and market linkage strategies
• Institutionalize systems, governance, compliance, and professional management practices
• Leverage technology, modern cultivation techniques, and data-led decision-making to improve yields and efficiency

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 15–25 years of overall experience with at least 10 years in agriculture/agri-allied businesses
• Proven experience in building, scaling, or running a profitable multi-location farming/agri-business as an independent profit center
• 3–5 years’ experience as Business Head/COO/CEO in a mid-to-large integrated farming/agri-business organization preferred
• Entrepreneurial candidates who have independently built or managed a mid-sized agri-business will also be considered
• Strong understanding of:
• Farming operations
• Contract farming
• Agriculture/horticulture/floriculture
• High-tech cultivation practices
• Commodity trading and agri-commercials
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in:
• Procurement and trading
• Retail/agri-market linkages
• Supplier negotiations
• Regulatory interface
• Imports/exports
• Prior experience working in promoter-driven organizations is essential
• Strong ethics, governance orientation, and execution capability
• Independent, committed, hands-on, stable, and result-oriented leadership style

Compensation

• Current CTC benchmark: ₹80 Lakhs+ preferred
