Private Equity Associate, Industrials

I’m currently partnering with a middle-market private equity firm based in Washington, DC that is looking to add an Associate to its investment team. The firm invests in founder-owned and family-owned businesses across the industrial sector and is seeking a candidate who is excited to work in a lean, hands-on environment with significant responsibility and exposure from day one.

The role will involve:

• Evaluating new investment opportunities and conducting market research

• Building and analyzing financial models across live transactions

• Supporting due diligence, deal execution, and financing processes

• Working closely with senior leadership and portfolio company management teams

• Assisting with portfolio monitoring and value creation initiatives

Ideal candidates will likely have:

• 2–4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or transaction advisory

• Strong accounting, valuation, and financial modeling capabilities

• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

• Interest in joining a collaborative, entrepreneurial investment team
