At our two locations in Gummersbach and Hohenthurm near Halle (Saale), we serve as the regional contact for the activities of the Kanadevia Inova Service Group in Central Europe (Germany, Austria, Benelux). We offer our customers the full range of services related to our plant components - from engineering and design to manufacturing, installation, overhaul services, and commissioning.
Our customers are primarily large companies in the fields of waste incineration and waste recycling, biomass, power generation, as well as the sugar and paper industries.
Job Description
In one of the most exciting growth markets - renewable energy - you will take on a diverse role with responsibility for expanding our market position. Your focus will be on the entire process from project development and proposal preparation to contract conclusion. This newly created position offers room for initiative and is ideally based in Gummersbach or one of our other German locations.
Your Specific Responsibilities
- Building, maintaining, and expanding relationships with existing customers, new customers, and project partners
- Developing and evaluating potential projects, including gathering all relevant information for internal screening
- Preparing budgetary proposals in collaboration with the estimating team
- Managing the proposal project (technical & commercial) - from tendering to successful contract award
- Leading contract negotiations with customers and consortium partners together with the internal proposal team
- Developing and implementing a targeted marketing and sales strategy
- Market monitoring: providing active feedback on technical trends, competitive landscape, and further development of our solutions
- Completed degree in engineering or business-related studies, e.g., industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, process engineering, or similar
- Several years of professional experience in international sales, proposal management, or project business in plant engineering with a focus on services
- Enthusiasm for complex technical systems and processes
- Very good understanding of commercial and contractual frameworks in large-scale plant construction
- Solid market knowledge in Waste-to-Energy, biomass, green tech, or the chemical industry
- Excellent skills in facilitation, negotiation, and results-oriented closing
- Business-fluent German and English, both written and spoken; additional languages are an advantage
