M&A Associate / Vice President

Our client, a leading international mid-market investment bank, is looking to add both an Associate and a Vice President to its M&A Healthcare team based in Frankfurt.

Responsibilities

• Execute M&A transactions across buy-side and sell-side mandates

• Build and review financial models (DCF, LBO, comparables) and perform valuation analyses

• Prepare high-quality client materials, including pitch decks, IMs, and presentations

• Coordinate due diligence processes and manage multiple workstreams

• Support client interaction and investor communication throughout the deal lifecycle

• (VP level) Lead transactions end-to-end, manage client relationships, and drive origination efforts

• (VP level) Mentor and oversee junior team members

Qualifications

Associate:

• 4–6 years of experience in Investment Banking (M&A) or Corporate Finance

• Proven involvement in multiple M&A transactions from start to finish

• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills

Vice President:

• 6–9 years of experience in Investment Banking or Corporate Finance

• Proven track record of leading and executing M&A transactions end-to-end

• Strong leadership and client management capabilities

General Requirements:

• Strong understanding of corporate finance and valuation methodologies

• Excellent organisational and communication skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

• Fluency in German and English (mandatory)
