ABOUT MAKEUP BY MARIO

Founded by world-renowned makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic, Makeup by Mario is a fast-growing prestige beauty brand redefining artistry-driven makeup. With a powerful presence across leading global beauty retailers and direct-to-consumer channels, we deliver innovative, high-performance products rooted in artistry, craft, and education.

ROLE OVERVIEW

Makeup by Mario is looking for a highly driven Coordinator to support and grow the business across the Dallas/Fort Worth market and surrounding North Texas/Oklahoma territory. This role is designed for someone with a strong selling mentality, a passion for artistry and education, and the ability to execute at a high level in a fast-paced retail environment.

The ideal candidate is highly adaptable, results-driven, open to feedback, and excited to grow within the field organization.

The Coordinator will support key business-driving initiatives including selling support, education, events, launches, relationship management, and freelance oversight while partnering closely with Sephora leadership and internal cross-functional teams.

  • Maintain strong understanding of business performance including sales trends, productivity, and event ROI
  • Utilize basic Excel and reporting tools to track business and support territory planning

Education & Sephora Partnership

  • Train and influence Sephora Beauty Advisors through impactful selling and product education
  • Build strong relationships with Sephora store leadership and teams
  • Support launch execution and ensure teams are educated on key products, storytelling, and selling strategies

Events & Activations

  • Execute and support FSCs, takeovers, launches, and additional brand activations
  • Partner with Regional Manager on event strategy and market opportunities
  • Manage freelance support budget and staffing within territory
  • Ensure events are operationally organized, strategically staffed, and focused on ROI
  • Support event setup, breakdown, collateral management, and operational execution

Operations & Communication

  • Maintain strong communication with Regional Manager and cross-functional partners
  • Manage scheduling, calendar planning, event logistics, and territory organization
  • Submit reports, expenses, and required business recaps in a timely manner
  • Adapt quickly to changing business needs, priorities, and retail environments

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience within Sephora as a freelancer, coordinator, brand representative, or similar field-facing role required
  • Strong selling ability and confidence working directly with clients in a retail environment
  • Passion for beauty, artistry, education, and client experience
  • Results-driven mindset with strong personal accountability
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Growth mindset with openness to coaching and feedback
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
  • Basic Excel and business reporting knowledge preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
