ROLE OVERVIEW
Makeup by Mario is looking for a highly driven Coordinator to support and grow the business across the Dallas/Fort Worth market and surrounding North Texas/Oklahoma territory. This role is designed for someone with a strong selling mentality, a passion for artistry and education, and the ability to execute at a high level in a fast-paced retail environment.
This is not a traditional coordinator role. We are looking for someone who thrives in-store, knows how to drive sales through execution, builds strong relationships, and operates with a hustle mentality. The ideal candidate is highly adaptable, results-driven, open to feedback, and excited to grow within the field organization.
The Coordinator will support key business-driving initiatives including selling support, education, events, launches, relationship management, and freelance oversight while partnering closely with Sephora leadership and internal cross-functional teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Business Execution
- Drive sales growth, productivity, and rank performance within assigned territory
- Execute strong in-store selling behaviors through client engagement, shade matching, artistry application, and add-on selling
- Identify opportunities to grow business through strategic market support and store prioritization
- Maintain strong understanding of business performance including sales trends, productivity, and event ROI
- Utilize basic Excel and reporting tools to track business and support territory planning
Education & Sephora Partnership
- Train and influence Sephora Beauty Advisors through impactful selling and product education
- Build strong relationships with Sephora store leadership and teams
- Support launch execution and ensure teams are educated on key products, storytelling, and selling strategies
- Represent the brand with professionalism, positivity, and strong business partnership in-store
Events & Activations
- Execute and support FSCs, takeovers, launches, and additional brand activations
- Partner with Regional Manager on event strategy and market opportunities
- Manage freelance support budget and staffing within territory
- Ensure events are operationally organized, strategically staffed, and focused on ROI
- Support event setup, breakdown, collateral management, and operational execution
Operations & Communication
- Maintain strong communication with Regional Manager and cross-functional partners
- Manage scheduling, calendar planning, event logistics, and territory organization
- Submit reports, expenses, and required business recaps in a timely manner
- Adapt quickly to changing business needs, priorities, and retail environments
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience within Sephora as a freelancer, coordinator, brand representative, or similar field-facing role required
- Strong selling ability and confidence working directly with clients in a retail environment
- Passion for beauty, artistry, education, and client experience
- Results-driven mindset with strong personal accountability
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Growth mindset with openness to coaching and feedback
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
- Basic Excel and business reporting knowledge preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
Schedule & Travel Expectations
- Non-linear retail schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak retail periods
- Territory travel throughout Dallas/Fort Worth, North Texas, and Oklahoma required
- Overnight travel approximately 2 times per month, with flexibility based on business needs
- Typical schedule may include:
- 2–3 event days weekly
- 2–3 selling/education support days weekly
- 2 office/admin days monthly
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs. including event collateral, kits, and merchandising materials
- Ability to travel frequently by car and occasional overnight travel
