Grants Writer

My Abba Father is seeking a mission-driven Grants Writer to help secure funding for programs focused on fathers’ health, wellness, and financial stability.

We are building initiatives designed to strengthen families and create long-term impact in the community, and we are looking for someone who wants to be part of that growth.

This is a full-time hybrid role based in the Greater Jackson Area, with flexibility for remote work.

The Grants Writer will:

• Identify and research aligned funding opportunities

• Write and submit compelling grant proposals

• Manage and track applications and reporting

• Collaborate with leadership to develop strong funding strategies

• Support long-term fundraising and donor engagement efforts

Compensation Structure:

This role is designed as a strategic partnership. Compensation will be built into grant proposals and funding budgets, allowing the Grants Writer to be paid from awarded grants and retained for ongoing work as funding is secured.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has strong experience in grant writing and proposal development

• Is highly organized and detail-oriented

• Understands nonprofit funding and fundraising strategy

• Communicates clearly and meets deadlines consistently
