Overview
We are seeking a hands‑on IT leader to oversee and support enterprise infrastructure across networking, cloud, and data center environments. This role is responsible for ensuring the performance, security, and reliability of all IT systems while leading a team and partnering with leadership to support ongoing technology strategy and growth.
This is a highly visible role that blends day‑to‑day operational ownership with long‑term infrastructure planning and team leadership.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and optimize enterprise infrastructure across network (LAN/WAN/SD‑WAN), data center, and cloud environments
- Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of mission‑critical systems and network resources
- Oversee and maintain hyperconverged infrastructure (VMware/Nutanix) and enterprise storage systems
- Support and secure cloud platforms including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, and AI-enabled tools
- Lead troubleshooting efforts, root cause analysis, and vendor coordination to resolve complex technical issues
- Plan and execute system upgrades, patching, backups, and disaster recovery processes
- Partner with leadership to design and implement infrastructure improvements aligned with business objectives
- Manage IT projects, vendors, and internal teams to deliver successful outcomes
- Mentor and develop IT staff while driving best practices across infrastructure, security, and operations
- Support business continuity planning and incident response when needed
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or IT operations leadership
- Strong experience with:
- Network infrastructure (Cisco, LAN/WAN/SD‑WAN)
- VMware/Nutanix or hyperconverged environments
- Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, M365)
- Windows Server and Active Directory
- Security‑focused mindset within an enterprise environment
- Experience managing vendors, infrastructure projects, and internal teams
- Strong understanding of:
- Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)
- Network circuits (MPLS, DIA, SIP)
- Data center operations and storage systems
- Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and lead problem resolution efforts
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in financial services or credit union environments
- Certifications such as Cisco, VMware, Azure, or Linux
- Experience with telephony / call center systems
- Exposure to disaster recovery and business continuity planning
