About the Job
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle for commercial vehicles. You will build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, identify new business opportunities, and ensure we meet our revenue targets in a competitive German market.
Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development:
- Actively acquire new customers and expand business with existing fleet clients.
- Conduct needs analyses to recommend the right vehicles, financing options, and service packages.
- Prepare and negotiate sales contracts, leasing agreements, and trade-in evaluations.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for B2B customers, ensuring a high level of after-sales support.
- Maintain regular contact with key accounts to forecast future needs.
Market Expertise:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in the German commercial vehicle market (e.g., alternative drives like electric vehicle, EURO standards).
- Monitor competitor activity and provide feedback to marketing and product teams.
Administration:
- Manage all sales activities in the CRM system.
- Coordinate vehicle handovers and documentation.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in the commercial vehicle, automotive, or heavy machinery industry.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of commercial vehicle types, telematics, and maintenance cycles is a plus.
- Language Skills: Native or business-fluent German (C1/C2) and proficient English.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient in MS Office and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, SAP).
- Soft Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills. Self-driven and target-oriented.
- Other: Valid EU driving license.
Required Skills
- 8+ years in B2B sales (Automotive, Logistics, or Industrial goods required).
- Fluent German (mandatory) and good English skills.
- Understanding of HGB logistics, toll systems, or e-mobility in the vehicle sector is a bonus.
- You are a hunter, not a farmer. You love hitting the road to meet clients.
- Full EU driving license.
Preferred Skills
- A degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a vocational training as a "Automobilkaufmann" (Automotive Sales Specialist) with further education.
- Experience in project management within the automotive sector.
- A strong network within the German logistics industry (BGL, DSLV, etc.).
